Event features include: 25 of the best chefs in the 5 boroughs going (ahem) hog wild with local pigs. Butchering and cooking demos brought to you by Wüsthof. Great local craft beer by Sixpoint (Brooklyn), providing exclusive custom beers. Exclusive wine and cider offerings from the best of New York State, North Fork, and the Finger Lakes. Veggie Pavillion brought to you by Cathy Erway. Music all day with live bands. This year’s chefs include: Chef Dale Talde of Talde & Pork Slope, Casa Mono‘s Anthony Sasso, John Stage (Dinosaur BBQ), Hecho en Dumbo‘s Chef Danny Mena, Egg/Parish Hall (George Weld/Evan Hanczor), King Phojanakong (Kuma Inn & Umi Nom), Joe Dobias (JoeDoe) Jacques Gautier (Palo Santo & Fort Reno), Ian Kapitan (Alobar), Terry French with Møsefund Farm, Peter Giannakas (Ovelia), Michael Ferraro (Delicatessen), Jimmy Carbone of Jimmy’s No. 43, Jonathan White with Bobolink Farm & Bakehouse, and Sam Barbieri (Waterfront Ale House & Fuhgeddabout It BBQ).
