Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee and other anti-LGBT figures have asked supporters to eat at Chick-fil-A today to support the restaurant belief that our families are not worth equal rights under the law. Chick-fil-A’s brand approval ratings have plummeted after their President Dan Cathy’s anti-LGBT remarks. Today across the country the LGBT community is mobilizing tens of thousands of equality supporters and asking that everyone donate $6.50 (the cost of the chain’s chicken dinner) to organizations fighting for marriage equality like Marriage Equality USA (MEUSA).
