Let the games begin! Is it an omen that hurricane Isaac popped up just in time to delay the GOP convention? Last evening’s performances were carefully scripted and avoided issues like the two wars we’re fighting, LGBT rights, the right for a woman to choose …. The topics covered were mostly distortions and truth twisting…it was a sermon to the converted.
Rick Santorum quoted from the Declaration of Independence..”We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness “…that is if you’re not gay! He proclaimed more rights to an unborn child then to our community!
Ann Romney at one point she said, “I love women!”…is she becoming one of us! She TRIED to relate to her knowledge of socioeconomic challenges facing many women by telling her story of eating tuna and pasta when she and Mitt first got married. Folks she proclaimed having a “REAL MARRIAGE”. She doesn’t have a clue.
The evening topped off with the pit bull of New Jersey, Gov. Chris Christie … I couldn’t figure out if was practicing for 2016 or was there in support of Romney. His 2800 words were more about what he has done in New Jersey then it was about Romney.
Tonight we move on to PAUL RYAN…I can’t wait to hear his words of wisdom!
