Created to give voice to the stories of bodies of color in an educational, sometimes whimsical fashion that pays homage to the oral history tradition. Mainstream culture too often rewrites and excludes the lives, experiences, and history of bodies of color. The inequalities within society presents power structures that can silence the less privileged; leaving their stories to be told by those who may not truly understand it. Dark. Nude. Storytellers. puts the power back into the hands of the people who live them, by giving them an opportunity to speak their truth.($15/$20 @ door)
