Since 1996, the Lincoln Center Festival has provided a showcase for the best in performing arts from around the world, including opera, chamber music, theater, multimedia performance, ballet, modern dance and multidisciplinary works. This year's lineup includes 58 performances by artists and ensembles from Germany, China, England, Ireland, Russia, Japan and the US. The festival welcomes back Garry Hynes and the Druid Theatre Company; Yuko Ninagawa and his eponymous theater company; Heiner Goebbels and Ensemble Musikfabrik; director Rezo Gabriadze and The Gabriadze Theatre; and Russian actor Yvgeny Mironov, among others.
