Big Band Dolly - a big band tribute to Dolly Parton

The 11-member jazz band is performing two sets of Dolly's biggest hits and some deep cuts with the help of some of NYC's brightest stars as special guest singers. Be prepared for some creative transformations, re-imagining some Dolly classics into blues, swing, bossa nova, and samba arrangements. Ben Lerman (tenor guitar/vocals) and Nicole Brancato (piano/lead arranger) lead the band with Joan Estep (vocals), Vern Tremble (vocals) , Marcos Sanchez (vocals), Gregory Hammontree (trumpet), Ben Flood (tenor sax), Sana Nagano (violin), Yasuno (euphonium), Stephen Harms (bass), and Paulo Almeida (drums).
Special guest singers at Big Band Dolly include Cecily Kate, Carla Rhodes, Nadia Quinn, Carolyn Castiglia, Stacey Jackson and Ruby Rae.($15/$20 @ door)
