(LGBT Center, 208 W13th Street, New York, NY, 10011)(7pm - 9pm) Opera singers Brigid Berger, Soprano and Christopher Leake, Baritone embark on a journey through the classical music cannon examining songs of longing, loss and unrequited love- beginning with baroque and romantic opera all the way through art song and broadway. This intimate evening of carefully curated songs promises to be an up close and personal look at the tragic love song throughout western musical history. All proceeds from the concert will go to support the Center and benefit the Cycle for the Cause 19th Annual Northeast AIDS ride. All monies raised go directly to support HIV/AIDS related programs at the Center.(Suggested donation $15)
