The company embarks into uncharted territory with collaborative dialogues that allow them to use their acrobatic strength and agility, their feminist street-smarts, and their intimate relationships with visual artists and musicians to create choreography and performance that will liberate and elevate all of us. All money raised at AIDS is a DRAG! WRAP it UP! goes towards continuing the Our Youth mission, providing a safe haven for all young adults regardless of sexual preference. Cyndi Lauper and Friends Benefit Concert for Homeless LGBT Youth

Annie Leibovitz in Conversation

A Child's Christmas in Wales
(Christ & St. Stephen’s Church, 120 West 69th Street, new york, NY 10023) (8 pm/10 pm) Welsh poet Dylan Thomas’ charming and ageless story, A Child’s Christmas in Wales, will be sung by the Chelsea Opera Ensemble in a four-part setting by NYC composer Matthew Harris with other holiday selection in the first Chelsea Opera presents concert of its 8th season. The Chelsea Opera Ensemble is comprised of past principal and ensemble singers, led by chorus master Audrey Saint-Gil and featuring tenor Brandon Snook. Also on the program is the single vocal solo from Howard Blake’s orchestration of the popular cartoon, The Snowman, featuring boy-soprano Benjamin Perry Wenzelberg. This concert will also feature the Chelsea Opera Chamber Orchestra conducted by Maestro Carmine Aufiero.
