Harvey & Family featuring Harvey Fierstein
(TheTimesCenter, 242 West 41st Street, New York, NY 10036) (6pm) Throughout his wide-ranging stage career, the actor and playwright Harvey Fierstein has explored and expanded the definition of family. Join the four-time Tony Award winner and some of his own theatrical family as they celebrate his career and the 25th anniversary of Manhattan's LGBT Community Center. The evening will include performance excerpts from some of Fierstein's best-known works including "Torch Song Trilogy," "Safe Sex," "La Cage aux Folles" and the new Broadway musical adaptation of "A Catered Affair," for which he wrote the book.
